Case Studies

Real client work — what the client needed, what we built, and the stack behind it. No invented metrics: every fact on this page comes from the project itself.

GridEnable AI

Client: Celtic Tiger Consulting

An AI decision-support platform that shows Pennsylvania data-center developers what must be true before capital moves.

The challenge

Data-center projects in Pennsylvania stall on permitting, grid capacity, local zoning and community opposition — and the facts that decide whether a project can move are scattered across DEP trackers, municipal decisions, utility filings and press coverage. Celtic Tiger Consulting, a Lancaster, PA strategy firm, needed a product that turns that public record into a clear, defensible readiness picture for executives. (We also built its marketing site — see the next case study.)

What we built

  • Every project on the PA DEP Data Center Permit Tracker loaded as a public-record project and refreshed daily, plus hand-researched projects built from permits, municipal decisions and local reporting
  • A deterministic readiness engine: denials and moratoriums read red, documented objections and appeals read amber, and nothing turns green until a person assesses the conditions
  • 100+ municipal moratoriums, bans and zoning actions, each verified against the municipality's own document, raising alerts on projects in that municipality
  • Every fact cites a source a reader can open; citation reachability is checked and the build fails if a project loses its last reachable source
  • Evidence vault: uploaded documents are extracted, embedded with pgvector and matched to requirements as suggestions a person accepts
  • A grounded AI copilot that drops any citation it cannot back, Community Signals monitoring of news and regulatory dockets, and a Permission Readiness Report PDF
  • Multi-tenant with role-based access and bring-your-own AI keys encrypted at rest; usable from desktop down to a phone

Where it stands

  • Platform live at gridenable.com
  • From design spec (Sept 2, 2026) to the platform live on its own domain in under three weeks
  • Every status names the record behind it — the platform never shows an unassessed condition as ready

gridenable.ai marketing website

Client: Celtic Tiger Consulting

The enterprise marketing site that takes GridEnable AI to market — positioning it as infrastructure decision intelligence for grid, permitting and site readiness.

The challenge

The GridEnable platform answers a narrow, high-stakes question for data-center developers, utilities and investors. Celtic Tiger Consulting needed a separate commercial site that explains it to executives in plain language, shows who it serves and how it fits with partners, publishes thought leadership, and turns interest into briefing requests — without exposing the platform itself.

What we built

  • Six sections — Platform, Solutions, Who We Serve, Partners, Insights and About — under the headline "Complexity shouldn't slow progress"
  • Insights articles written in MDX, so new thought-leadership pieces ship as content files
  • Briefing-request contact flow sent through self-hosted mail — no third-party email vendor
  • Accessibility statement, generated Open Graph images, sitemap, robots and llms.txt for search and AI discovery
  • Unit and end-to-end test suites, Lighthouse checks, and a zero-vulnerability npm audit rule

Where it stands

  • Live at gridenable.ai
  • Design spec Sept 10, 2026; first deployed the next day and refined through late September
  • Separate from the platform, so marketing changes never touch the product
The rebuilt NAWSC site: Protecting public water. End-to-end.
Water utilities & public healthLaunching on nawsc.net — October 2026

nawsc.net rebuild

Client: National Water Specialties Company

A ground-up rebuild of a WordPress site as a server-rendered site with interactive backflow-specialist directories for 15 states.

The challenge

NAWSC administers Cross-Connection Control programs for utility, municipal and privately owned water systems, backed by a nationwide network of ASSE-certified backflow specialists. Its site ran on WordPress, loading each state's county map over AJAX. NAWSC wanted a modern rebuild that keeps its content and makes the most-used tasks — finding a certified tester in your county, downloading test forms, submitting test results — quick to reach.

What we built

  • 28 pages covering the original site, with a mega-menu for Specialists, Resources, Forms and the Clean Water Protection System
  • 15 state backflow-tester directories, each with an interactive county map — hover to highlight, click a county to filter the tester list — bundled at build time with no extra requests
  • Clean Water Protection System test-submission portals and a forms library of test forms, surveys and incident reports
  • A Spanish-language landing page for Spanish-speaking customers
  • Centralized SEO: canonical URLs, Open Graph and Twitter cards, and LocalBusiness structured data on every page

Stack

Where it stands

  • Replaces the WordPress site on nawsc.net in October 2026
  • Server-rendered pages with no plugin stack to patch
  • Continuous deployment: every push is built, deployed and health-checked automatically
